Cute Ghost Brownies for Halloween | Vegan

Hello everyone!
Halloween is almost upon us so today I decided to bring you this cute and super easy Halloween bake.

I was searching a lot of cute Halloween related desserts and I decided on Ghost Brownies!

I just wanna mention that the brownie recipe that I wanna share is vegan! Unfortunately, I couldn't find vegan marshmallows so the entire recipe isn't vegan. If you can it's fantastic!

Ingredients

  For the brownies

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 2 cups of white sugar
  • 3/4 cups of unsweeten cocoa powder
  • 1 tea spoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

For the decoration

  • 15-18 large marshmallows * I couldn't find a vegan option
  • 340g  white chocolate chips
  • 1 TBS coconut oil
  • black decorating gel or frosting

INSTRUCTIONS

Start by preheating the oven to 175ÂşC.
Then, in a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Pour in the water, vegetable oil and vanilla; mix everything together until well blended. Then spread evenly in a 33x23 cm baking pan (9x13 inch).
Bake the brownies for 25 to 30 min. Don't retrieve the brownies if you see that the top is shiny. Let them cool for at least 20 min before cutting into 15 squares.

Now, the fun part begins!
Top each brownie piece with a large marshmallow.
Microwave white chocolate chips with the oil, in 30-second increments, stirring after each, until smooth.
Using a spoon, carefully drip white chocolate completely over the tops of each marshmallow, so they are covered completely and it drips on to brownies.
Allow white chocolate to set.
Use black gel to make eyes and a mouth on each "ghost".

And voilá! You now have an amazing dessert for your Halloween party!
